Everyone’s asking me why I have pink eyebrows

I’m aware that this is re oxydation etc but as a former make up artist who applies her make up on a thoroughly clean base, this is just not up to scratch.
Everyone’s been staring just above my eyes, quizzically .. sadly the medium brown shade just turns pink and then red every single time.

Waste of money

I bought this thinking it would be an alternative to bow dye, I was wrong. Hardly any colour, flimsy brush and actually went.on red. Terrible product, won't be buying this again

Der Augenbrauenstift an sich ist super und hält perfekt. Eines meiner Lieblingsprodukte 🥰 Allerdings lösen sich von dem Stift kleine Silber Partikel nach der Zeit, die dann an den Händen und Gesicht kleben.. Es wäre toll, wenn man sich da etwas Neues überlegen könnte

Après application du gel, la couleur vire au rouge

J’ai acheté ce produit il y a plus d’une année. J’avais enfin trouvé ce que je cherchais pour avoir de super sourcils, volumineux et bien dessinés. Malheureusement, j’ai racheté un nouveau stylo, le même que le précédant il y a 2 semaines et dès que j’ai appliqué le gel, la teinte brune se transformait en couleur rougeâtre. Très déçue, j’ai du changé de marque.

I bought this as well as other products but very disappointed with those, it was great the first day the second it was all dried out and no product coming out I shook it up but still useless had to revert to my pencil

Handy for natural brows

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Handy 2 in 1 product for eyebrows. I love the fine liner to fill in my brows with a natural look. Then the clear gel shapes them nicely into place. I would definitely recommend this for everyday wear.

Used only once, it turned green, i looked like an idiot. It also doesnt work as intended, i couldnt make fine strokes, the brush doesnt allow that at all so i just filled in the spaces.

Alternative zu Urban Decay Brow Blade

Ich bin schon länger auf der Suche nach einer günstigeren Alternative zum Urban Decay Brow Blade in Cool Cookie. Und ich habe sie gefunden! Das Gel brauche ich nicht, da ich sehr wenige Augenbrauenhaare habe. Schöner wäre für mich die Kombi von Filzspitze und normalem Augenbrauenstift. Ich kann den Stift nur empfehlen.

Ich finde diesen Augenbrauen Stift echt klasse! Das einzige was bisschen doof ist, ist dass das liquid hinten kaum was bringt bei mir oder ich weis nicht wie man das verwendet. Aber für mich ist das nicht so wichtig,deswegen trotzdem 5 Sterne, der Stift ist super !

Nothing like the advert

Bought this based on the advert ,it appears now the model has either had her brows already laminated or waxed. The brush tips did not give fine brush strokes and the brown shade had a tinge of red in it

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is a good 2 in 1 product and would be good for travel. I like a pencil more than a felt pen but if you like a feathered brow this works well. The gel is nice too. Be warned it gets dirty quickly.

Finally! Great product for brows!

Finally perfect brush for creating hair-like effect! The secret is doing it without applying pressure on the brush. Only with the tip doing hairstrokes. Beautiful color. I am blond and chose soft brown. It's great! And the fixing gel is very nice too! I am stocking up on this product before it's descontinued of something.

Hair like stroaks and buildable

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I genuinely love this product. I have "full-ish" brows, this product and it's light strokes gives it a nice full affect without making my brows look thick and blocked out. The brush is seriously very thin so the stroaks are very hairlike.

Very disappointed

I bought this a couple of weeks ago and was so disappointed, The shade was much lighter than the chart and added nothing to my eyebrow shape. I had such high hopes as pencils seem so outdated, but will return to them as generally half the cost.

Nice natural finish

The colour side is nice and fine so creates realistic ‘hair’ strokes. I found the colour nice too, not too dark like many can be. The small wand and fixing gel was brilliant. Easily shaped and held my brows in place.

Buildable colour

Easy and realistic brows

It is waterproof so stays put all day and makes my eyebrows look fuller naturally. It’s also sweat-resistant, smudge-resistant and humidity-proof. The pen is very fine enabling precision even for a novice like me. I am able like produce hair-like strokes quickly and easily.

The formula is easy to use and it gives me a natural-looking brow that lasts all day. I love that the product comes in a variety of shades, so I can find the perfect one to match my hair color.
Onething to keep in mind is that the Build a Brow can be a little messy. The product is a little thick and it can be easy to overapply. But if you're careful, you can get a great brow that will last all day.
Overall, I highly recommend Maybelline's Build a Brow. It's a great product that gives me the natural-looking brows I've always wanted.

GOOD PRODUCT, BUILDS REALISTIC LOOKING BROWS

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Having very sparse and blonde/grey eyebrows I always find it difficult to 'draw on' realistic looking brows. Build-A-Brow was easy to use - being fine enough to spend some time on several applications and I did make some mistakes at the beginning but it was easy to wipe away before drying and start again. Eventually I got the hang of it, and could apply 'sisters, not twins' in a short period of time !!
The sealing gel was easy to apply and my brows lasted all day, even through several sweaty exercise sessions.

Good eyebrow pen to help imitate fine eyebrow hair

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] As someone with very sparse eyebrows (my teenage self and a pair of tweezers have a lot to answer for!), i am always on the search for the perfect eyebrow pen/pencil so that i don't look like they've been drawn on with a marker pen.
I've tried 100s of different products, so jumped at the chance to test out and review the new Build-A-Brow. I am a (bottle) blonde but my natural hair is dark brown so i tend to go for a lighter brown or sometimes a blonde colour, so choose the light brown colour and it's light enough to suut my hair colour but just dark enough to be able to draw in fine lines to look like little hairs. It seems to last well through the day - going on around 7am and still hanging in there after a zumba class in the evening. I haven't used the gel at the other end, only because i gave no real hairs to hold, but i can see how this would be handy.
Overall a good eyebrow pen that can give fine line strokes to imitate eyebrow hairs, and so far the pen has lasted quite awhile - another bonus

Great product

At one end there is a brow pen that you can use to fill in your brows and then at the other end you have a brush which is coated in a gel which seals your brows in place. Use in the morning and it will last all day. Makes your brows look natural.

Natural Buildable Brows

Looks like my brows but better!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is my new favourite brow pen. I have very sparse brows and this allows me to build up a natural brow, that really looks like small hairs! And I can build it up thicker for nights out. The gel sets the brows so there is no concern of it rubbing off - I touch my face alot and have a toddler so this has definitely been tested!!

The spoolie brush is adequately sized and does the job of spreading the clear gel well to it keeps it in place.
The pen offers a soft colour and the precision tip makes it easy to use and fill in as much or as little as you like. Overall a good product

Full brows again hooray

Although as it’s very fine, I need to do a lot of filling in on my eyebrows and had blonde but still found it a tad too dark for me! Could be great, just not for me!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I received this as part of the Maybelline volunteer testing panel, and I was looking forward to trying it, having watched MUA Katie Jane Hughes use a similar product to enhance her sparse brows for years. However, I just couldn't get the hang of using the marker pen end to draw in natural-looking brow hairs where I don't have any. Partly I think this was down to me choosing a shade that was slightly too dark, and partly it's down to my general cackhandedness and 50-something eyesight! The clear fixing gel was fine though.
Overall, I think it could be a useful product if you can master the technique, but it's not for me - there are other Maybelline brow products that work better for me.

Natural looking filled in brows.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I was lucky enough to be sent this 'Build-A-Brow' product to try, although this in no way influences my opinions.
I have fair skin with blonde/silver hair & got the blonde colour which is a good match to my cool skin/brows. (Sometimes I find blonde eyebrow products can have a red/ginger as opposed to a cool ashy tone).
It is useful to have a slim, double ended colour & gel so I only have to carry 1 product in my make-up bag & making application easier.
The 'felt-tip'/'art brush' applicator needs a light/gentle touch to keep the 'hairstrokes' looking fine, but is quick to master. The tiny spoolie in the setting gel end is easy to use & doesn't come out overloaded with product. It is not super strong nor shiny & doesn't dry out my brows, perfect for my natural looking brows. However, if you're looking for 'soldier brows' that stand to attention & won't step out of line in a force 9 gale, you may want a stronger product.
All in all, I think this is a good addition to Maybelline's brow line up & is certainly something I'll recommend & repurchase. Thank you for letting me try this Maybelline.
