feststellen Ich habe es ausprobiert und es ist eine gute Lippenpflege aber von Aufpolsterung habe ich bisher nichts gemerkt. Ich habe eine farblose und sie glänzt ganz gut, aber hält leider nicht lange. Eine Volumenveränderung konnte ich nicht feststellen.

I bought this thinking it would give me a lovely plump pout…what I got was burning lips and the taste of chilli. I don’t know if the mixing machine got the amounts wrong but the one I bought was terrible. It tasted of chilli and burnt my lips and made my asthma wheeze audible! Truly horrendous. Done touch with a barge pole!

I love maybelline products but this pumps only because of the tingling effect and the colour does not stay on. Could of got more of my 24 hour lip pens on offer for the cost of this!

Burning sensation

I bought this lipgloss without realising the real effect it can have on lips, I don’t particularly have very sensitive skin or lips but the lipgloss left my lips burning after one coat, my tongue and mouth are left with a really bad taste. Really disappointed as all I wanted was a lipgloss!

I have been looking for a lip gloss to fall in love with for years and I have finally found it. I bought Peach Fever and the colour is just right for me. The plumping effect is just right too and I love the tingle which lets me know it is working.

Horrendous pain

I have used lip plumper gloss before but this gloss gave me the worst pain ever. I had to wipe it off and still had my lips burning for hours. Super disappointing cause I wanted to have it as a staple gloss. Unfortunately it caused more harm than good. One star for the colour.

Awful! Burning!

Such a shame as the colour I got (Red Flag) is lovely and really suits my skin tone. However - the burning sensation on my lips was intense and only kept getting worse! Most awful reaction I’ve ever had to make up!

The product lacks of clear information that it BURNS! A tingly sensation or 'heat' is not an accurate description and is seriously misleading. I bought mine today, it is going straight in the bin! What a bad idea to sell this product, I wish I looked up at the rewievs before buying. I actually bought it as 3 for 2 offer believing that it is a nice lip gloss.

Thankfully I tried this the day before my date because my lips, mouth and tongue were on fire. I did not realise there was chilli in this. I usually love Maybelline products but this is by far the worst. How this got past your testers and production team I do not know.

Es brennt kurz, aber es funktioniert!

Das ist mein erster Lip-Plumber - es brennt ca. 5-8 Minuten, danach wird es angenehmer aber omggg es funktioniert, die Farbe (red-flag) ist nicht too-much (natürliches pink), super shiny und meine Lippen wirken wirklich voller, love it!!

Innovative but it’s a bad idea

It’s my mistake didn’t realize the chili sign on the product literally mean it contains chili. Once I applied on my lip, the burning sensation was horrible. It leave a bitter taste on your lip. Can’t figure out the reason why make the product this way.

The colour is SO nice, and it smells like it would taste really good like a cupcake - not that I would eat it LOL! It would be a bit spicy!! My daughter asks me to borrow this ALL the time, its so good I have a SECRET stock hidden from her - how sneaky!! I really recommend it, I would sell my kidney for it.

This was clearly designed not with women in mind. I bought this and had to throw it away after first application - my lips burned like they were on fire. Why? Being a woman I certainly not wish to endure such a discomfort. Discontinue - it's awful!

Bought this yesterday & it’s awful! Why would you want your lips to tingle like that for ages. It’s such a con. Had to clean it off. Now I have woken up with a big sore on my lip. It needs to come with a warning sign, it’s ingredients cause you to wake up with sore lumpy lips not plump lips.
I usually love maybelline products so really surprised with this. Sort this out maybelline as I can see I’m not the only one that’s experienced this. It needs taken off the shelves!

My lips, my mouth and throat were all hurting and burning! I’m taking the product back to the shop tomorrow to demand a refund. How awful. This would / could seriously hurt someone especially a child!

Good gloss

This really isn’t as bad as people are saying. Yes it does burn, but this only lasted about 20-30 mins for me. It has a lovely colour and finish and I can see the plumping effects. Tbh I quite like the tingling sensation, but perhaps my pain tolerance is good.

Lip gloss burns and stings! I thought I must be having an allergic reaction - looked it up on line and it's got chilli in it! Lots of it, I guess. The writing on the security label may have contained a warning but it's way too small to read. I think I'll try returning this as a faulty product!

This is the worse plumping product ever! Its give a very unpleasant chilli burning sensation without a lot of plumping results. Would definitely not recommend nor buy again! It’s gone straight in the bin

Ich liebe diese Marke wirklich sehr und kaufe oft ihre Lipglosse. Doch heute war ich leider enttäuscht: Der Chili-Lipgloss war eine echte Katastrophe! Er brennt nicht nur extrem auf den Lippen, sondern sogar im Mund. Natürlich habe ich mit einem gewissen Kribbeln gerechnet, aber nicht mit so einem intensiven, unangenehmen Brennen. Ein absoluter Reinfall!

I bought this product in January 2025 as I saw how nice it made my friends lips and I wanted to try it. The worst mistake from my end. Didn’t mind the burning I’m not saying this product is bad. I have had multiple products from this brand and I love them however this plump lipgloss gave me an allergic reaction and an infection it is now close to March and it’s still not gone. I didn’t even know I was allergic to anything. The skin around my lips is now red all the time. It’s an open wound and it flakes all the time. It won’t go away. Worst mistake of my life I really do wish I could get my money back because I feel anxious going out anywhere now I hate it.

J'ai acheté le lifter plump numéro 003 mois ci car je trouvais la couleur très jolie. Je l'ai essayé et je me suis demandé s'il n'était pas périmé. J'ai ressenti aussitôt de fortes sensations de brûlures sur les lèvres, sur la langue, même enlevé ça piquait toujours autant. Le lendemain je ressentais aussi des picotements. J'ai donc recherché sur internet le produit et j'ai vu qu'il y avait du piment dedans pour avoir un effet pulpant, je ne savais même pas que ça existait. Certes j'aurais du examiner le produit un peu plus, ce qui est sûr c'est que je m'en suis servi une fois et je l'ai jeté, un peu plus de 10 euros

Tried this and instantly regretted it. Burning is an understatement. Everything tingled including tongue. Worried for a bit I was having an allergic reaction… lots of water and gradually eased. Had to remove straight away.

Habe mir heute den Lifter Plump gekauft, die Farbe sah ansprechend aus und wenn die Lippen als Nebeneffekt noch etwas voller aussehen, perfekt. Leider brennt dieser Gloss so extrem unangenehm, dass ich ihn nach wenigen Minuten abwischen musste. Von Lifting ist auch überhaupt nichts zu sehen gewesen (wenigstens einen kleinen Effekt hätte ich erwartet). Der Preis somit völlig unangebracht. Produkt landet in der Tonne. Sehr schade!

Most disgusting lip damaging gloss

Please DO NOT BUY this gloss. It is so damaging on your lips. I do not understand why would you want to experience a burning sensation of a chilli in a lip gloss. My lips are burning and have instantly cracked. So Maybelline's idea of having plump red lips is by adding chilli and make them swollen by the burn of the chilli. I will be very honest I did not read the bottle properly. I thought chilli was just a brand range. Absolutely disgusting product idea. Most unpleasant experience. I wish I could give them NO STARS

You can feel the heat straight after putting it on but it doesn't burnt, it is not unbearable. Definitely can see my lips plumped. Pigment amount it's perfect as well; no too much so you can use it in any occasion.

Colour looked lovely but once applied, the burning was too intense for comfort. I have had plenty of lip plumpers before but this one is not comfortable - waste of money, will go in the bin! Plus if you accidentally lick your lips, your tongue feels swollen.

Sorry, habe selten ein so schlechtes Produkt für fast 11 € gekauft. Landet in der Tonne!
Habe mich für den Farbton 004 Red flag entschieden. Man nimmt auf den Lippen nur den Gloss aber null Farbe wahr und die Lippen, sowie der Mundraum und Zunge brennen wie Feuer! Unglaublich!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I actually love the colour, the shimmer is a beautiful pink with a gold gloss. It applies well, the applicator is great, pretty accurate without being messy.
The texture is also not too sticky or heavy as some lip gloss products are.
I think its just having the chili as the source of plumping, rather than other source. It has a punch, but nothing too uncomfortable to wear. I think its because i suffer from dry mouth, lick my lips a lot and ended up with the aftertaste of chili in my mouth.
Overall a nice plumping gloss that i will definitely wear again.

I tried this today and actually burns so bad I even tasted it in my mouth and tongue and it’s given my lips a spot at the top now it plumped them slightly but rlly stings so bad I rlly regret buying it

The first time I used this I thought it was an allergic reaction until I realised that it used chilli. I tried again but it was burning so much and I could even feel it on my tongue. Did not seem right to me that a product should do this. Again thought it was maybe an allergic reaction still until I read loads of reviews. Will not be using this again!
