Bring back the older version

I have been buying these hoping that I'll just get better at using them but it's my third one since the older satin duo got discontinued and it still looks like garbage. The powder has a hard time coming out and the pencil ends is so soft and clumpy it just gives smudgy clown brows. It's okay kinda in the thicker brow area but where I have less hair is at the tails and instead of filling in the area the pencil just smears soft brown all over my skin and clumps there. I ended up scrapping it for another product and brand entirely. In my opinion there was absolutely no need to improve the original duo satin product.

Extraordinaire et si ingénieux👍

Je l'utilise depuis des années. C'est un astuce de beauté, car on arrive à adapter l'effet comme on le veut! Ceci grâce au DUO incorporé : crayon pratique=1er côté du stick, et effet flouté-embelissant=2ème côté du même stick. Juste la couleur à choisir😍. Dure longtemps et le rachat est une évidence, donc je suis belle depuis longtemps😀🌟🙋

I have been using express brow for about 15 years I find this product absolutely Fabulous I wouldn't want to ever be without it, I buy several at a time, I use black brown, I can't understand any of these reviews, it's a brilliant, it's a brilliant product for eyebrows..

Bei meiner Freundin getestet. Und direkt verliebt. Wenn man Lücken in den Augenbrauen hat perfekt. :) Der Sponge ist für die Lücken. Die man oft mit einem Stift immer wieder weg wischt beim verblenden. Verblende mit dem sponge am anderen Ende und damit werden meine Augenbrauen am Ende perfekt. Der Stift ist in einem Dreieck. Aber schön schmal. Wenn ihr dunkel braune oder schwarze Haare habt, ist die Farbe 1

Der Augenbrauenstift funktioniert, ich kann gut nutzen und die Farbe hält gut auf meinen Augenbrauen. Dennoch bin ich nicht besonders überzeugt davon. Denn es verwischt zu stark und fühlt sich am Ende schmierig an. Das Puder finde ich zu schwach pigmentiert, deckt nicht satt und nach kurzer Zeit ist von dem Puder nichts mehr zu sehen. V

Do Not Change What Isn’t Broken!!

Why on earth do companies insist on changing products that do not need changing!?! I have used the Xpress Brow Satin Duo pencil for years and this new version is absolutely awful!! Like others have said, the teardrop shape is so difficult to use & leaves you with a faint line if you manage to use the thin end or a thick clumpy line if you use the thicker end. The consistency is horrible too and ends up clumpy and disappears throughout the day. It takes twice as long (if not longer) to do my brows now. I will not be buying this again. I am so disappointed Maybelline and hope you take note of all of these dissatisfied reviews. You have lost me as a loyal customer! Save yourself time and money and disappointment and don’t buy!

Schade, dass der alte Brow Satin ersetzt wurde

Ich hab seit Jahren den ursprünglichen Maybelline Brow Satin Duo - Dark Brown benutzt und war immer extrem begeistert, auch bei so einem hohen Preis.
Mit dem neuen Express Brow Satin bin ich leider gar nicht zufrieden. Die Spitze des Stiftes ist im Vergleich zum Vorgänger viel breiter, wodurch sich nicht mehr dünne haarähnliche Striche zeichnen lassen und die Augenbrauen viel zu dick und undefiniert wirken.
Da es den alten Brow Satin Stift nicht mehr in den Geschäften zu kaufen gibt, kaufe ich mir derzeit noch Restbestände im Internet...
Sehr schade.

Bring back Brow Satin!!!

I used to use the Brow Satin eye brow pencil and loved it and I'm so disappointed that it has been taken off the market. I find this new express one is too thick and much darker and it goes on like a crayon. Don't like it at all and I'll have to go in search of an alternative product. Bring back the Brow Satin PLEASE!!!!!!!!

New Design is Pointless and Impractical

I have been using brow satin for years and years. The new design is impractical and very annoying to use compared to the original - I would have rated the original 5 stars. I don’t see the point of this new design, the thin side you want to use gets worn down then you’re left with the thick side making really thick heavy lines. Hopefully maybelline takes notice of all of these reviews and brings back the original. Good example of if it isn’t broken, don’t fix it!

funktioniert sehr gut und hält auf meinen augenbraunen riecht leider nach Katzenhaarallergie und Rosenparfüm von Dm schade um diesen punkt trotzdem kann ich sagen das meine Augenbrauen danach aussehen wie besen das ist aber geschmackssache

Too thick bring back brown satin original

Awful.. So thick and there's no shape to your eyebrows with this!! You might as well draw them on with a crayon and they would look better... Bring back the brow satin they've just discontinued!!! Miles better !!!

The sponge end is great for filling in areas and the pencil end is brilliant for creating hair like strokes. Overall a really great product that I’d highly recommend!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I really like the mix of the powder and pencil in one product. I found the powder a great base, not too heavy and a nice colour. The pencil is ok, but i prefer a thinner or pointed end, rather than the shape here.
Overall pretty good and handy to carry in your bag.

Tricky to use

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have tried to use the Express Brow 2-IN-1 Pencil & Filling Powder a few times but the powder end of the product does not want to work, even drawing on my hand does not produce any powder. The pencil end of the product works well, it has a great triangle shape which helps produce fine lines or thicker ones if you prefer

This 2 in 1 pencil & powder makes it so much easier to fill in sparse areas of the brow. I find the pencil much easier to use than a powder and brush. Lasted all day and looked very natural.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The pencil is way too soft and not enough pigmented. The shape of it is too thick and it isn't easy to apply it. The filling powder has the sponge a bit too big. I would prefer it to be a bit smaller. The product doesn't last long and it is easy to remove it with a simple touch.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This has 2 ends, the angled pencil end is great for little eyebrow touch ups (filling in gaps!). The powder end is much easier to use than you'd think, and really adds depth and just generally makes your brows look nice and full.

Great Pencil

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I loved this pencil, the sponge is very good and soft. I was worried my black brows was going to look fake but sometimes I only use the sponge as it leaves me with a very natural-looking brows and takes me seconds.
It is very easy and quick to use and doesn’t leave any harsh lines, lasts all day long and doesn’t fade.
Highly recommend!

Express Brow 2 in 1 pencil in Brunette

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I tried the Express Brow 2 in 1 pencil in Brunette. I have very dark eyebrows and could have maybe gone a shade darker although this shade was fine for me to use despite initially thinking it may be too light.
First I used the brown triangle stick crayon side of the pencil to fill in the missing 'tails' of my eyebrows, then used the powder sponge applicator side to fill and enhance my whole eyebrow. The result was full natural looking eyebrows which actually last (I have oily skin and tried many brands of brow pencils, crayons, powders, wands, none which were as good as this as they tended to fade or smudge within a few hours of wear.)
As someone with naturally sparse, thin eyebrows, this Express Brow 2 in 1 pencil is a blessing. I love how it's is super easy and quick to apply, which is great when you're in a rush and don't have much time.
I will be buying this in future instead of my usual brow pencil as it's a clear winner :)
I have greasy skin and it stays put :)

Simple and easy to use

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I’m generally not a fan of eyebrow products. They tend to either be too complicated to use or require skills which I don’t have. I found this surprisingly easy and simple to use. The pencil doesn’t release too much product so it’s not messy and makes it easier to do a more subtle look that you can build on top of. And the powder brush allows for blending I would otherwise not be able to do.

Natural, thick brows that stay on all day

You can go for a very natural brow with the powder end alone, or go for a thicker fuller brow using the pencil and the powder. I love that it’s 2 in one, I use the powder of a day and both ends for nights. The shade isn’t a red brown either, it’s very ashy and not too warm on me which I love!

Great for full looking brows!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This express brow pencil is excellent, best one I've tried in a long time and excellent value for money, it definitely gives fuller looking eyebrows and lasts all day, put it on before then went our first a meal after and I didn't need to touch it up looked just as good as 1st thing in the morning. I have very fine eyebrows and light without using a eyebrow pencil you can't really see mine, had loads of comments regarding my eyebrows from customers at work especially because of wearing face mask my eyes and eyebrows are a focal point so lots of positive comments.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have been using this for a week. And im very impressed with this pencil. Its very soft to apply and fills in evenly in the brows. They look more defined with the shape and prominent with the colour. It lasts all day and doesn't smudge. And easily comes off in the evening when I cleanse my face. I would definitely recommend this to everyone!

Is so simple to use, even without much of makeup skills. Is long lasting and doesn't transfer throughout the whole day. Gives beautiful full brows effect and yet still looking very natural.
