Neue Rezeptur, aber schlecht

Ich hab das Eyeliner-Gel viele Jahre benutzt und war davon überzeugt . Doch jetzt ist in der gewohnten Verpackung ein völlig anderes Produkt. Ein minderwertiges Plastik- Töpfchen mit einem krümeligen Gel, das sofort eintrocknet und sich nicht mehr auftragen lässt. Sehr schade. ich hoffe es kommt bald die alte Rezeptur zurück.

Leider mit dem Vorgänger-Produkt überhaupt nicht mehr zu vergleichen! Es bröckelt, deckt nicht und hält nicht! Ich kaufe es nicht noch einmal. Ich verstehe nicht, weshalb die Formel geändert wurde.

Unusable! PLEASE RETURN BACK TO OLD FORMULA

I was the no.1 recommender for this eyeliner back in the day. Sadly the new formula is not only terrible but it is honestly unusual, gritty, dries on skin in clumps?? Leading it to break away, cannot put it on the waterline anymore. Not smooth or creamy, and even causes irritation. It's unusable. I had never had to rehydrate the old eyeliner, but you can't even hydrate this one. At first it was jusy clumpy?? Hard to get a nice amount on the brush, which was also better in the old eyeliner as it was just a brush and easy to hold, great quality, never dried up either because of the cap and no sponge end which gets annoying. I'm not sure why this eyeliner was ever changed to be honest as I heard nothing but raving reviews and even people thanking me for showing them a gel eyeliner that was beyond great quality that wouldn't break their wallets.

Einfach nur schlecht

Ich habe jahrelang den Gelpot Eyeliner verwendet und war damit immer super zufrieden. Den gab es dann nicht mehr, sondern nur noch den Tattoo Eyeliner. Aufmachung war billiger, Plastik statt Glastopf. Nu ja, dachte ich. Aber der Inhalt war die Katastrophe. Krümelig, viel zu fest, lässt sich nicht ordentlich auftragen. Habe das Produkt entsorgt und bin auf der Suche nach einem vernünftigen Eyeliner. Probiere gerade den Eyeliner von Zoeva. Warum verschlechtert man ein prima funktionierendes Produkt? Ich lese ja hier, ich bin nicht die einzige, die den Eyeliner grottenschlecht findet.

Katastrophale neue Rezeptur

Ich hatte das Eyeliner-Gel viele, viele Jahre benutzt, mit Begeisterung. An die Qualität kam kein anderer Eyeliner heran. Was ist jetzt passiert? Ein völlig anderes Produkt in dem Töpfchen, das sein Geld nicht wert ist. Das Gel lässt sich nicht richtig auftragen. Ich muss mir ein neues Produkt suchen. Sehr traurig. :-(

Nach ca. 15 Jahren muss ich mir einen Ersatz suchen, weil der neue tattoo liner nichts taugt.
Hab mir gleich 2 Packungen gekauft und beide weggeschmissen. Haftet nicht auf der Haut, egal was und ob man drunter macht. Hab alles versucht, mit Primer & ohne, mit etwas Puder & ohne, mit Concealer & ohne, mit einem leichten Hauch von Augencreme & mit verschiedenen Cremes & ohne, einfach auf das gereinigte Gesicht und sogar auf das akkurat mit Wattestäbchen desinfizierte Haut.
KEINE CHANCE das Produkt ordentlich aufzutragen.
Ist jetzt das meist gehas.ste Produkt!

Neulich habe ich mir aus Versehen den ähnlich verpackten Tattoo Liner, aber in einem eckigen Tiegel geholt. Der hat sich als der größte M. erwiesen.
Da bin ich eben auf diese Seite von Maybelline gegangen um mich zu beschweren und hab festgestellt, dass das nicht die neuere Version vom Liner ist, sondern ein ganz anderer.
Ich bin so glücklich, dass es den alten Lasting Drama doch noch gibt.
BITTE-BITTE niemals was an dem verändern.
Er ist perfekt !

Do not buy the new tattoo studio formula!!!

I (like many others in the reviews ) have been using this eveliner for 10+ years. The formula has always been the same until now and it was always the most perfect and best eyeliner available. Now the tattoo studio version is gritty and hard to blend. Everytime I use it my eyes have some kind of allergic reaction and I can’t even finish my makeup because my eyes are watering so bad. Little pieces of it chunk off and get into my eyes and feel dry and cakey and is very unflattering looking due to the fact that it just does not blend. It’s not buildable at all because if I try to touch up my makeup it just doesn’t layer or blend on top of the first application. I am so disappointed because I’m gonna have to look for something to replace an eyeliner I would have used forever and hopefully I can find something as good. But this new one isn’t even an option. I literally will not use it Even as a last resort, I’m currently scraping the bottom of my old formula one to avoid using this new one.

Maybelline! What have you done? I agree with the majority of reviews. I’ve used this product for years but the new formula is terrible. It’s gritty. It smudges and definitely doesn’t glide on like it used to. I have previously recommended but will not anymore and will be looking for an alternative

Gritty eyeliner

I have been wearing maybellines liquid eyeliner for over 20 years and then the gel eyeliner when it came out. Loved the product and now they have changed it to something that looks like shoe polish. It’s so gritty and thick. The old one slides on on the lid and the new black lid one is so thick I’m sooooo disappointed. Will have to find a new brand.

DONT BUY THE NEW TATOO VERSION! Waste of money!

Omg, i have been using this gel eyeliner for so many years i cant count anymore. Im so angry that i had to waste my money for that new tatoo version. I tought i wasnt lucky with it and maybe something went wrong in production on that day as it was dry and it was not possible to apply it on my skin. So after a month i went to different shop to be sure im not getting the same batch. Of course , only tatoo version available, gave it another chance. Absolutely unhappy, wasted my money twice. The same dry thing im not able apply on my skin at all. Cant find any similar product to the old one. People here- help with suggestions please. Im desperate for new eyeliner .

Nicht mehr kaufen!

Jahrelang das Produkt verwendet, der neue Lasting Gel Eyeliner ist schrecklich. Mega übel zum Auftragen, das Gel ist hart und zäh. Zudem teurer und viel weniger Inhalt. Ich werde mich nach einem anderen Produkt umschauen.

Das Auftragen ist mühsam geworden, das Ergebnis überzeugt nicht mehr, und das Schminken ist inzwischen eher eine Qual als eine Freude. Sehr schade, denn ich hätte es gerne weiterhin benutzt.Utile ?

ich könnte weinen!!!! jahrelang habe ich den gel eyeliner verwendet, ich habe ihn heiß und innig geliebt. gestern habe ich mir, nachdem ich länger flüssigen liner verwendet habe, zum probieren wieder eine dose gekauft.
1. teurer als früher
2. weniger inhalt
3. KOMPLETT ANDERES PRODUKT
der liner war früher cremig und ein traum beim auftragen, mit 100% deckkraft und langer tragedauer.
was auch immer DAS jetzt sein soll, es ist keines der oben genannten dinge!
schon beim eintunken des pinsels (das einzige was gleich ist wie beim alten produkt) tut man sich schwer, das produkt ist sehr schwer aufzunehmen. es ist STEINHART. (es erinnert an gepressten liner, den man mit wasser aktiviert. - das funktioniert hier leider nicht)
hat man es mit mühe geschafft, etwas 'substanz' (gel ist das wirklich nicht!) auf den applikator zu bekommen, kommt es zum nächsten problem: es lässt sich nicht auftragen. mit glück bleiben ein paar vereinzelte bröckchen am lid kleben. ich musste so fest und oft über die selbe stelle fahren, bis es schon richtig schmerzhaft war. einen richtigen lidstrich habe ich aber nicht hinbekommen.
zur tragedauer kann ich nichts sagen, ich habe nach einem halb fertig geschminkten auge aufgegeben und alles abgewischt (was, spannenderweise, bei dem wasserfesten produkt allein mit wasser blendend funktionierte)
das schlimmste ist, dass der hersteller nicht einmal die gnade hat 'neue rezeptur' oder ähnliches auf die (gleiche!) verpackung zu schreiben.
tipp: sparen sie sich das geld. nehmen sie ein stück holzkohle. selber effekt, aber billiger.

Ersatz durch Tattoo Eyeliner

Dieser Gel Eyeliner war der Beste ever. Jetzt ersetzt durch den Tattoo Eyeliner, zum einen teurer und weniger drin und graunehaft. Nicht zu benutzen. Bin froh zu sehen, dass es nicht nur mir so geht. Ihr habt eine schlechte Quality control - der Tattoo Eyeliner hätte nie auf den Markt kommen sollen. Ich wechlse nun nach bestimmt mehr als 10 Jahren und bin wirklich super enttäuscht.

Have tried this and the tattoo version and they are both absolutely dreadful. Have been using the original Lasting Drama one for so many years and it was amazing. I've been scouring the internet for that one, only to find it's been discontinued and all the reviews across all the retailers sits on your new ones are really terrible and I have to absolutely agree. Wondering if you've seen all these thousands of reviews saying the same thing, and if so? Why on earth would you not immediately bring back the old formula. Please Maybelline 😭 really really loved the original, and now I will have to look for a totally different brand.

Ich verstehe überhaupt nicht, warum dieser tolle Gel Eyeliner von diesem krümeligen, kratzigen, nicht wasserfesten und völlig unmöglichen Tattoo-Liner ersetzt wurde.

War über zehn Jahre mein Eyeliner. Es gab keinen Vergleichbaren, aber leider wurde er jetzt durch den Tattoo Liner ersetzt, welcher leider total bröckelig ist und super schwer zum auftragen ist. Bitte passt die Formulierung wieder an!

Why would you change an amazing product!!! I've been using lasting drama for years and this new tattoo gel is absolutely shocking. It doesn't move its so dry!! It's like I've left the lid off for a week. Going to have to find a new product now. I'm so annoyed!!

Product such poor quality now

I came here to read the reviews and I'm so glad I did. I thought maybe I was unlucky and had bought a dud pot of Eyeliner. I have used this product for so many years and haven't found another like it that equalled its quality at an affordable price. When this product suddenly became discontinued and replaced with an alternative product, I believed it was just a design change in the packaging and presumed the product would stay the same but all the reviews saying what a poor alternative the tattoo gel liner is are 100% accurate. It doesn't stay put, the application is poor as the gel is so dry. The quality of this product now is of such a low standard that it is severely damaging my opinion of Maybelines brand as a producer of quality products. This is the second product of their's, that I use, to have gone downhill, the other being their Sky High mascara.

Where has this original liner gone?

Can't find this in the shops anywhere. I bought the tattoo liner which seems to be the replacement but it is shocking! Just awful and doesn't come close to the original. Why did it change? The new one is so dry it doesn't apply properly. Bad move Maybelline!!

Absolutely Awful

I have been purchasing this liner many years and all of the comments you see below about the recent changes to the product are correct. I do not understand why companies have to mess about with good products, oh yes of course, to add cheaper and less effective ingredients, to downsize the product so an already multi million company makes even more! Honestly do not buy this liner! I am currently looking for a nice alternative, any suggestions?

I have been using the gel eyeliner for about 15 years now and from the moment I first purchased it, it's the only eyeliner I've used. I've received so many compliments over the years from friends to strangers and I've put over 30 people onto this eyeliner. So after all these years I am beyond disappointed that you decide to change the formula and if anyone at Maybelline actually tried the product you would know instantly that this new product is rubbish! It's not even useable. I don't know what anyone was thinking by creating this product which was perfect before. I am so frustrated that my favourite product has been ruined like this and I think it's lost Maybelline multiple loyal consumers. This new gel is dry, clumpy and takes about 20 swipes to even draw a line and let's not forget while you're drawing, clumps of product just drop down your face.. waste of my money

I have been using this eyeliner for 10 years, nothing compared with the opacity, texture and it lasted all day long; when it came to makeup removal at the end of the night, it still looked fresh.
I can accept re packaging, but why try to perfect an already perfect formula.
The new texture is dry, Which you would think would last longer. Nope, once you do try and get enough on your brush to achieve a solid line. Looks grey at best and smudges at a drop of a hat.
Please bring back the old formula Maybelline!!! Before you start losing loyal customers.
