No better than any other mascara

The effect was not as the photo depicted it would be! Very disappointed as I have always used Maybelline mascaras. I thought I would try this one as it was supposed to add volume and length - it didn't do either!

Amazing mascara

I have been using this mascara for a few months now...i love it....i can't understand the negative comments..maybe doesnt suit everyone but I would definitely recommend this product. I always put 3 coats on to get a dramatic look

What a waste of money... it's just like all mascaras. A big fat marketing ploy. No lift whatsoever! I've compared it to another brand mascara I have and the result was exactly the same.

Doesn’t do what it says

My lashes didn’t come out false looking and l found the actual mascara liquid to be too thin and not thick enough to stick to lashes. Most disappointed. Waste of money.

Does not lash lift

So disappointing!

I usually use No7's 'The full 360' which gives lift, volume, length and curl however I was tempted into buying this as part of a deal with my foundation purchase. The claims are amazing and I couldn't wait to try it. What a mistake! It weighed down my lashes and made my Blepharitis so much worse. So disappointing. Wished I'd stuck with my original plan of buying a lipstick instead.

...horrified to see the plastic packaging surrounding product..difficult to remove... rush to thick kept hitting eye when applying...but lashes looked good after

I love all Maybelline products. Mascaras are my favorite. However, I am very disappointed with this one as my lashes instantly went flat, does not hold the curl as promised. I was so excited to try this mascara as there was a lot of hype but honestly it was a waste of money.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Product was clumpy when I first used it and difficult to apply. It did leave me with lovely long lashes but after a couple of hours it ran and left me with panda eyes. It was easy to take off with facial wipes and left no trace afterwards.

It’s so easy to apply evenly, right to the outer lashes. I put a light coat on first to get the hang of the brush, then went back over it again to build the volume. The result was gorgeous lifted lashes without any horribly clumps. It lasted all day but then was easy to clean off.

The best mascara I have even used!

It lasts all day and night without needed touch ups. No smudges or flakes. It applies easily. By far the best mascara I have used for a long time. Will be buying again.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I tried Maybelline The Falsies Instant Lash Lift Look Lengthening Volumising Mascara and was surprised by the results. I was not expecting much and to be honest struggled with the brush initially as it is thicker and a different shape than I was used to. Once I mastered the application the results were great. My eyelashes are quite sparse so it took a couple of coats to get them looking thicker and longer. All in all a great mascara that definitely lengthened and thickened my eyelashes with no clumping and was easy to remove.

Great thick lashes

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is very good mascara if you want really thick lashes. It doesn’t clump but it won’t make lashes curlier. It dries quickly and looks good for hours. The only minus for me is a big brush that won’t allow me to use the mascara on my lower lashes as I have them very fine and short.

WOW! IT REALLY DOES WHAT IT SAYS ON THE TIN

The brush is a unique shape which captures even the smallest lashes at both corners of the eyes. The colour is Jet Black which can be layered and goes on easily without any clumping and lasts all day. It is also easy to remove with a normal cleanser. I will definitely be purchasing in the future and will have no hesitation in recommending to friends/ colleagues.

Currently I have the remnants of a lash lift and was hoping that this mascara would revive my eyelashes for a couple of weeks more! The design of the brush helps to coat each lash and really makes your eyelashes pop! One coat is a nice subtle open-eye look, but a second coat gives more drama. Overall I am happy with this product, would recommend and use again!

The only negative is that I find the shape of the brush harder to apply than other shapes and as a result end up with some mascara on my eyelids, that being said it wouldn’t stop me from purchasing it in the future

The New Lash Lift?

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The concept of this sounds great, cheaper than constantly going to the salon right? For me, I haven't felt as though it is better than a lash lift the volume just wasn't there. However, putting that to one side it is a great mascara for everyday wear. The curl it produces stays all day and no black circles around the eyes. The brush is great and I find that is able to coat all of my lashes relatively easily. It's really easy to remove which for me is a great bonus! My problem is that it doesn't live up to the name of giving my lashes a lash lift I'm afraid.

I've tried it 3 times, including today, and find it a little difficult to apply, but I am used to using a much finer brush. The product applies well, even with no spider bits. Personally, I used a second coat, which made the finish much thicker and lush. Certainly lifted my lashes, and lasted well

My new 'go to' mascara!

It even catches my fine, short bottom lashes with no mess. It washes off so easy with just warm water which is a big plus for me so no harsh scrubbing on such a gentle area. When I opened it I was concerned about the size of the brush as I usually use a small brush and this is quite large. I was worried about it would go all over my eyelids!! I need not have worried the brush is very well shaped and easy to control. I was amazed how even with one coat the lashes were more curled, longer and thicker. I use 1 or 2 coats for day and 3 for a dramatic night time look. It does not clump and smear. It stays exactly where you place it. I use a eye make up remover lotion and it came off very easily, no rubbing is required. VERY impressed with this product and it certainly rivals the dearer mascaras out there.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I was lucky enough to have been sent this mascara to try and it is good.
I was a little worried, given the size of the brush, that it'd overload my lashes & I'd end up with thick, clumpy eyelashes. However it gave me lovely thick, lengthened, separated eyelashes with just one coat - how I wish my eyelashes looked naturally & ideal for a daytime look. It is also buildable - I went up to 3 coats for a 'proper' false eyelash look, adding the coats both simultaneously & onto already dried mascara, again with no clumps & no spidery eyelashes.
It is also easy to remove with eye makeup remover, no hard rubbing required.
The only negatives for me were that my eyelashes felt quite dry & stiff (unlike my favorite mascara) and that my eyes became quite irritated within an hour or two.

impressive mascara for lift and volume

The hour shaped brush is really good and lifts lashes up and helps make them look longer and lusher, it dries quickly so you have to apply one coat after the other till you get the effect you want. Lovely black colour, suitable for day and night, just build up to the level you want. Had good staying power, didn't smudge or flake. Reasonably easy to come off, might take a couple of goes depending on what you use. No irritation. Would happily recommend this mascara and buy it again.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Maybelline is my go to brand for mascara, I've tried many other more expensive brands but they don't come close to Maybelline so I was really excited to try Falsies Lashlift. As I wear Make up everyday, for special occasions and nights out I treat myself to Eyelash extensions so when I heard that Falsies Lashlift gave eyelashes the look that a salon lash lift procedure would I was like 'WOW' !!!!. Today I tried it for the first time and I loved it from the first coat, usually I would curl my lashes before applying mascara but I wanted to see how my lashes would look with only the mascara. This mascara made my lashes look A-MAZ-ING, my lashes were longer and lifted, just like I'd step out of my local beauty salon. I applied 3 coats of mascara but I probably should of have stuck to two as by the end of the day my mascara started to flake. However I recieved a number of compliments on my lashes and would recommend this to anyone. Thanks Maybelline this mascara will save me a fortune,no longer will I be paying for eyelash extensions, no need now that I have found the Falsies Lashlift mascara.
