I had really high hopes for this product. The colour cheeky is beautiful and it is easy to apply however when dry it is still very sticky and feels awful in my lips. I dried fairly Matt and had zero shine and definitely did transfer!

Extremely disappointing

This product is poorly advertised. All of the marketing shows the product producing a high shine, this is even listed within the benefits ‘instant shine’. However, this product is extremely mattifying and feels very drying in the lips. As I would choose to avoid matte products I feel that this is very misleading and I am now left with a product I can’t use after one use.

Nice texture

It feels really comfortable on the lips, would i wouldn't say it lasts as long as a regular liquid lipstick. I wasn't particularly keen on the colour, but that's just my personal preference.

Colours not true to advertisement

I just bought 3 colours at the store and was very excited after watching swatching videos on youtube. However, all 3 colours are a dark, unappealing mauvey brown, they don't match the packaging colour and they look nothing like the bright vibrant colours online. An expensive waste of money, especially as there were no testers available. I bought peachy (mauve), peppy (browny mauve) and awestruck (dark muddy brown). Do not be fooled! Although I can't fault the non-transfer, I just wish they were actually nice colours.

Fantastic colour and long lasting

Bought 3 of these lips ticks expecting them to be good. Sadly the lipstick transfers to everything. Hate how it leaves lipstick marks on cups especially. Such a shame as the colours were lovely.

I love the consistency of this lip product from Maybelline. It feels comfortable and non sticky and has a vinyl type/glossy finish. It is truly gorgeous! I have the colour Cheeky. Great for long wear, I recommend this product!

Vinyl peachy

I bought this today after seeing the advert. I love maybelline and have used their products for many years.
This one however, vinyl peachy shade, is the most disappointing product I’ve used. At first it looks so lovely. It’s beautiful to put on. The colour is really nice. But it lasted 10 seconds. It wipes off so easily. Not a superstay stay at all. And reading other reviews where maybelline replied and suggests to buy a different product convinces me that they know it’s not good at all. I’m very disappointed having spent money on this. Won’t buy again and will not recommend.

Sticky mess

The review was so promising. I always have problems with gloss, but this is a liquid lipstick, so I was excited. Bought a beautiful colour, but that’s about the only good thing about it. It stays very sticky, however little I put on making my lips practically stick together. It transfers onto everything it touches everywhere

I picked out Witty, Lippy and Cheeky but non of the package match the actual colour of the lipstick. I found the colours to be a slightly different shade and tone then expecting, not sure they work so well with my pale skin complexion

I bought 2 of the vinyl superstay lipsticks the other day because of the good reviews it gets. I am so disappointed with these.
1 instructions say to let dry - they never dry. Always feel sticky
2. Product supposed to be budgeproof. Absolutely no way is this the case lipstick transferred to cup as much as any other lipstick.
3. Supposed to last all day. Not at all did this last more than a few hours on me
Such a waste of money. Cannot understand the other comments.

Modern vinyl lipstick

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Lovely pink colour, goes on easily with the wand, gives a good glossy vinyl look. Lips felt comfortable, little bit sticky and that it was took a bit of time to dry in as it is quite wet when first applying. Staying power is good, you do get a little bit of transfer if eating and drinking. If on night out then would top it up to ensure if kept looking fabulous. Daytime lasts well. Would never wear make up for 16 hours so not sure if would last that long. Love the container, very modern and matches the colour of the lipstick.

This lip ink is absolutely stunning!! It lasted me all night without having to reapply it once, even though I was drinking and getting my lips wet on the glass!!
Nothing could remove the colour. I only bought 1 to test it, but I will definitely get a few more colours now I’m happy with how it performs!!

It sets really quickly but does not feel dry or plasticy. It lasted really well and was still on after going out for lunch, even after wearing a mask. Finally the colour was great. Good but not perfect

I have couple of the superstay matte inks and swear by them, so was excited to try the vinyl ink. I really like how easy it goes on and how it initially looks - it does have a very glossy vinyl look. However, it takes a good 5+ mins to fully dry and still has a slight stickiness when its done. Not a lot, but enough that your hair might catch on it in the wind. It's comfy to wear, even for a prolonged amount of time, but im far more aware of it than I am when wearing the matte. Maybe thats just because its what im used too though. The finish initially has a beautiful semi gloss but I found after a while it dulled down and became more of a subtle sheen that still looked really nice.
As far as wear goes, there was a bit of transfer when eating or drinking but nothing too major. Again, not as good as the matte in that department, but its a different type of formula so cant fault it to much and it was definitely nothing compared with wearing a glossy lip! Needed a few touch ups over the evening to keep looking its best. I think the packaging is cute and it actually matches the colour inside which is really helpful for picking a shade (compared with some other brands where its a bit of a guess!) Price wise its not too bad but I think it could be a few quid cheaper for what it is. Overall, I'll probably stick with the matte ink as it performs better but I'd be tempted to buy few other shades of vinyl if I ever see it on offer.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I'm so dubious about claims products make about staying put, but found this product to be pretty good at doing the job it's meant too. I don't think it lasted the 16 hours, but did a good job at lasting whilst eating and drinking. It also felt comfortable as claimed. It did not dry my lips out as other long wear lip colour does.
I love the wand, i found i could use it as a lip liner with accuracy and then fill in with ease. The colour is fab and gives a nice shine.
The only issue i had was colour on my teeth after I'd left the product to dry. I think i may have bitten my lips, and some had rubbed onto my teeth, which is never a good look. If i hadn't had this issue it would be a 5* product for me.

Wow show stopper lips!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] So I opened my package up to find this beauty inside, first thoughts where how stylish and modern it’s packaging is. Once I began applying I had a real wow moment with how vibrant the colour was (it’s been a while since I wore bright lipstick) but also how nice and smooth it was to apply. Since it states it’s glossy I naturally expected it to be quite sticky and remain tacky, as iv never known a glossy lip to be anything but really. Wow was I surprised with this one it feels so nice and moisturizing to wear, and it’s staying power is unreal literally. No top up required all day, my lips felt that nice I forgot I was wearing it. The only problem came when removing it, it does take quite a bit of rubbing. If you are wearing all day without top up, I wouldn’t let a bit of rubbing put you off. You are definitely getting your moneys worth this one!

Disappointed with colour!

I was so excited to try this new lipstick! However I’m very disappointed in the colour. I chose “coy” which looks a lovely plum/pink colour. When applied it looks really purple and doesn’t suit me at all. It looks nothing like the examples of colours when choosing. I’m so disappointed and very reluctant to waste my money buying a different shade.
